Weatherford PD Awarded Carey Ramirez with the Review The Blue "Public Appreciation Award" for 2024.

January 8th 2025:

Weatherford PD Awarded Carey Ramirez with the Review The Blue “Public Appreciation Award” for 2024.

Officer Ramirez received an average of 4.7 stars out of 5 stars on the Review The Blue Survey that went out to every defendant that had an interaction with her. She received a total of 275 reviews in 2024.

53 officers in the Weatherford PD received a total of 3234 reviews from the public during 2024 and the average department score was 4.5 stars.

An overwhelming number of civilians had nothing but praises for the officers, even though they were all pulled over by the officer for various traffic related violations. It’s quite encouraging considering the fact that the news is mostly focussing on negative events between Law Enforcement and the public.

New In Blue’s – eCitation system called Tickets On The Go and the eSurvey system called Review The Blue was brought to Weatherford PD by Chief Lance Arnold who is now the Chief in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

The survey system called Review The Blue, designed and managed by New In Blue – Technology for Cops By Cops is one of a kind system that messages defendants after two sleep cycles after their interaction with a police officer with a link that can only be used once.

Currently about a dozen police departments are successfully using this system that was pioneered in Rockport PD by then Chief Greg Stevens.

The system breaks down survey results by Age, Gender & Race of the defendants and by each individual officer is a great tool for Police Departments to commend their exceptional officers and also to also be able to detect any issues that might need attention before it gets worse.
